Adapter-aansluiting Phanteks PH-MMA_CR_G1/4

The Phanteks PH-MMA_CR_G1/4 adapter fitting is a metal connector designed for use in PC liquid cooling loops. Finished in chrome, the fitting combines corrosion-resistant plating with compact dimensions — approximately 18 mm in width and a lightweight 17 g profile — to provide a durable connection point between tubing and components while contributing a polished visual accent to the build.

Advantages

This adapter fitting offers a robust metal construction with a chrome surface treatment that improves wear and corrosion resistance compared with untreated materials. Its compact size and low weight reduce stress on tubing and fittings inside tight cases. The standard thread interface ensures compatibility with G1/4 threaded cooling components, and the smooth chrome finish makes routine cleaning and visual inspection easier.

Suitable for

• Custom water-cooling loops in desktop PCs
• Connections between radiator, pump, reservoir and water blocks
• Compact or small-form-factor builds where space and weight are limited
• Systems where a chrome aesthetic is desired

Key specifications

• Material: metal construction with chrome plated finish
• Thread type: G1/4 standard threaded connection
• Width: approximately 18 mm
• Weight: approximately 17 g
• Finish: polished chrome surface

How to use

Install the adapter fitting by hand-starting the G1/4 thread into the corresponding port on your cooling component, then tighten securely using appropriate tools without over-torquing to avoid damaging threads or crushing tubing. Ensure mating surfaces and threads are clean and dry prior to assembly. When connecting tubing, slide the tube fully over the barb or insert used in your loop and secure with appropriate clamps or compression fittings according to the rest of your system design. After installation, perform a leak test before powering the PC.

Recommendations

Use compatible G1/4 threaded components and avoid excessive force when tightening. Perform an extended leak test after assembly and periodically inspect chrome surfaces for signs of wear or corrosion in mixed-metal loops; if dissimilar metals are present, consider corrosion inhibitors or appropriate coolant to protect components.
