Adapter ShiverPeaks 57041-G — 2 cinch (RCA)-koppelingen voor audio-connectiviteit

Adapter ShiverPeaks 57041-G is a passive audio adapter with two cinch (RCA) couplings designed to join or extend analogue line‑level RCA connections. The compact adapter provides a straightforward way to connect audio components such as CD players, AV receivers, amplifiers and stereo equipment without active electronics. Its gold‑plated contacts improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion in everyday home audio setups.

Advantages

The adapter offers a simple and reliable solution for connecting or extending RCA cables without affecting signal polarity or requiring power. Gold‑plated couplings ensure stable contact and reduced oxidation over time, while the passive design preserves the original analogue signal path. The compact form factor makes it easy to position behind racks or in tight spaces and the robust housing supports regular handling and cable changes.

Suitable for

• Joining two RCA cables to extend signal reach between audio components
• Connecting CD players, tuners, or line outputs to AV receivers and amplifiers
• Temporary or permanent cable routing in home stereo systems
• Use in audio test setups or when reorganizing home entertainment wiring

Key specifications

• Type: Passive RCA (cinch) adapter with two female couplings
• Signal supported: Analogue line‑level audio
• Contact finish: Gold plating for improved corrosion resistance
• Physical format: Compact inline adapter suitable for tight spaces
• Compatibility: Standard RCA cables and line outputs/inputs

How to use

Insert the male RCA plug of one cable into a female coupling on the adapter and the male plug of the second cable into the opposite coupling to join two cables. Ensure plugs are fully seated to maintain good electrical contact and correct left/right channel assignment. Because the adapter is passive, no power or configuration is required; it simply extends or links existing analogue RCA connections.

Recommendations

For best results, use shielded RCA cables with secure connectors and avoid excessive cable bends near the adapter. Keep the adapter and surrounding connectors free from dust and moisture. If you notice intermittent contact or noise, reseat connectors or replace worn cables to restore reliable signal transmission.
