Alpinus Athos heren bodywarmer Navy Blue XL

The Alpinus Athos Body Warmer delivers core warmth without restricting movement, making it a smarter choice than a bulky jacket for high-output activities. Its windproof shell with a water-resistant finish shrugs off light rain and biting gusts, while the synthetic fill holds heat even if the vest gets damp. A full-length zipper, stand-up collar, and elasticated hem seal out drafts, and three zippered pockets keep essentials secure. Whether layered over a fleece for a chilly hike or worn solo on a crisp morning commute, this vest balances lightweight comfort with dependable protection.

Highlights

• Windproof and water-resistant polyester shell with DWR coating
• Synthetic insulation retains warmth when wet and dries quickly
• Full-length front zipper with stand-up collar for draft protection
• Two zippered side pockets plus one internal pocket for valuables
• Elasticated hem and regular fit allow easy layering
• Breathable construction prevents overheating during active use
• Lightweight design packs down small for travel or backpacking

In daily use

On the trail, the Athos vest shines as a mid-layer under a shell or as an outer layer in mild weather. The smooth polyester lining glides over base layers, and the zippered pockets keep a phone, keys, or trail map from bouncing. Around town, it adds just enough warmth for a walk to the station or a weekend market, and the navy blue colour pairs easily with jeans or hiking trousers. The DWR finish means a sudden shower won't soak through, and the breathable fabric stops you feeling clammy when you pick up the pace.
