Askato magnetisch visspel met zwembad

On a rainy afternoon or a sunny patio, children aged 3 and up gather around the water basin, dip their rods, and see who can hook the most fish—this magnetic fishing game turns any table into a lively pond. The set includes a hard plastic pool, two fishing rods with magnetic tips, ten colorful fish, and a small net for scooping up catches. Fill the basin with a shallow layer of water, drop in the fish, and let the magnetic attraction do the rest. The multi-coloured pieces are made from smooth ABS plastic with embedded magnets, sized for small hands and built for repeated play.

Why choose it

This game sharpens hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills while teaching colour recognition through playful competition. The smooth edges and non-toxic materials (manufacturer claim) make it safe for young children, and the lightweight design allows easy portability from living room to garden. With two rods included, siblings or friends can play side by side, and the net adds an extra way to retrieve fish for less coordinated players.

Ideal use cases

• Rainy-day indoor activity for toddlers and preschoolers
• Outdoor play on a patio or in a sandbox (with or without water)
• Developing hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
• Teaching colour recognition and turn-taking
• Portable fun for playdates, daycare, or family gatherings

Good to know

No batteries are needed—just add water and play. The compact basin holds approximately 1–2 liters for shallow play, and all pieces are easy to rinse and dry. Adult supervision is recommended for children under 3 years due to small parts.
