Batterijlader QOLTEC Charger AGM GEL STD 6V 1A voor 6V loodzuuraccu's, AGM en gel

QOLTEC Charger AGM GEL STD 6V 1A is a compact charger intended for 6V lead-acid batteries, including AGM and gel types. The unit delivers a steady 1A charging current, providing controlled recharge and maintenance for small batteries used in scooters, alarm systems, UPS modules and other portable or standby applications. The charger incorporates basic protection against overcharge to support battery longevity while remaining suitable for routine top-up charging and periodic maintenance.

Advantages

The charger offers a compact form factor and a simple single-output design that fits limited-space installations. Its 1A current is matched to small 6V lead-acid, AGM and gel batteries to reduce the risk of over-stressing cells during regular charging. The device is designed for practical, everyday use with straightforward connection and automatic charge regulation to prevent prolonged overcharging. Its construction prioritises reliable, low-maintenance operation for standby and portable equipment.

Suitable for

• 6V lead-acid batteries in scooters and small electric vehicles
• Sealed AGM and gel batteries in alarm and security systems
• Backup batteries in UPS modules and emergency lighting
• Portable battery packs and hobby electronics requiring 6V maintenance charging

Key specifications

• Nominal output voltage: 6 V
• Charging current: 1 A (steady)
• Battery chemistries supported: Lead‑acid, AGM, Gel
• Application type: Recharge and float/maintenance charging for small batteries
• Form factor: Compact single‑output charger suitable for bench or wall placement

How to use

Connect the charger to the battery terminals following polarity markings, ensuring a secure and corrosion-free contact. Plug the charger into a suitable mains outlet and allow it to deliver the 1A charging current until the battery reaches its recommended full charge; for routine maintenance use the charger in float mode as specified by the battery manufacturer. Disconnect mains power before removing the clamp or terminal connections and avoid connecting the charger to a frozen or visibly damaged battery. Observe safety instructions in the accompanying technical documentation for correct ventilation and ambient temperature conditions.

Recommendations

Use the charger for regular maintenance and topping up of 6V lead‑acid, AGM and gel batteries rather than for rapid recovery of deeply discharged batteries. Verify battery voltage and condition before charging, and follow battery manufacturer guidelines for float charging to maximise service life.
