Beeldschermbescherming DICOTA D50081-2MG universeel PET zwart 130g

The DICOTA 2-Way privacy filter is a universal PET screen protector designed to preserve screen clarity while protecting sensitive information in public environments. Made from durable polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and finished in black, it reduces visible viewing angles to safeguard personal and confidential data. The filter also helps protect the display surface from scratches, reduces fingerprints and limits reflections.

Advantages

The filter provides two-way privacy by darkening the screen from the left and right at viewing angles beyond ±30 degrees, helping prevent shoulder surfing in libraries, open-plan offices, airports and on trains. Integrated magnets and included self-adhesive magnetic strips make attachment and removal straightforward on framed screens. The PET material is resistant to wear and maintains touch sensitivity and image clarity while offering scratch and dust protection.

Suitable for

• Working in public spaces (libraries, airports, trains)
• Open-plan offices and shared workstations
• Protecting laptop or monitor screens from scratches and dust
• Use on framed displays where magnetic attachment is possible

Key specifications

• Material: polyethylene terephthalate (PET)
• Privacy type: 2-way (left and right)
• Privacy angle: darkens beyond ±30° viewing angle
• Color/finish: black
• Attachment: integrated magnets plus self-adhesive magnetic strips for frame surfaces

How to use

Attach the filter to a framed screen using the integrated magnets; if the frame does not accept magnets directly, apply the enclosed self-adhesive magnetic strips to the display frame first and then mount the filter. To remove, gently pull the filter away from the frame; the magnetic attachment allows repeated removal and reattachment without tools. Clean the PET surface with a soft, lint-free cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners.

Recommendations

For best privacy performance, position the screen so that primary viewers face it directly and avoid tilting the display. Regularly clean both screen and filter with a microfiber cloth to maintain clarity and touch responsiveness. Use the magnetic strips only on compatible framed surfaces and follow the strip manufacturer's instructions for adhesive bonding.
