Behringer CX2310 V2 stereo 2-weg/mono 3-weg frequentiescheiding met XLR-aansluitingen

Live sound engineers and studio technicians often face the challenge of splitting audio signals cleanly to drive separate amplifiers for subwoofers, midrange drivers, and tweeters. The Behringer CX2310 V2 is a professional stereo 2-way/mono 3-way active crossover that solves this by providing precise frequency division with Linkwitz-Riley filters and a 24 dB/octave slope. Its balanced XLR inputs and outputs ensure noise-free connections in demanding environments, while the internal switch-mode power supply accepts 100-240 V for worldwide use. Housed in a rugged 1U rack-mountable chassis, it integrates seamlessly into any professional audio setup.

Key specifications

• Stereo 2-way or mono 3-way operation with low sum output for subwoofer
• Linkwitz-Riley filters, 24 dB/octave slope for precise crossover
• Balanced XLR inputs and outputs (2 in, 4 out stereo / 5 out mono)
• Wide frequency response: 5 Hz to 90 kHz (+0/-3 dB)
• Signal-to-noise ratio >95 dB, THD+N <0.004% @ +4 dBu
• Adjustable crossover frequencies: 44 Hz–930 Hz (x10 switch up to 9.3 kHz)
• Independent gain controls for input, low, high (and mid in mono)
• Phase invert switches on all outputs for alignment
• Internal switch-mode power supply: 100-240 V~, 50/60 Hz
• 1U rack-mountable, rugged metal chassis

Why choose it

The CX2310 V2 delivers transparent audio splitting with ultra-low distortion, ensuring your drivers receive only the frequencies they can handle efficiently. Its flexible mono mode with a summed low output is ideal for subwoofer configurations, while the x10 frequency multiplier extends the range for high-frequency drivers. The balanced XLR connections reject hum and interference, making it reliable for both touring and fixed installations.

Ideal use cases

• Live sound reinforcement: bi-amping or tri-amping PA systems
• Studio monitoring: precise crossover for multi-way monitors
• Home theaters: managing subwoofer and satellite speakers
• Fixed installations: clubs, churches, and conference venues

Good to know

The unit features a low sum output in mono mode, which combines the low-frequency signals from both channels into a single output for a mono subwoofer—perfect for systems where space or amplifier channels are limited. The internal power supply eliminates bulky external adapters, and the 1U rack format saves valuable rack space. All controls are easily accessible on the front panel for quick adjustments during sound checks.
