Beveiligingscamera Dahua HAC-HDW2802T-A-0280B-S2-DIP HDCVI

The Dahua HAC-HDW2802T-A-0280B-S2-DIP HDCVI surveillance camera is a 2MP high-definition camera designed for reliable monitoring in a variety of environments. It provides clear 1080p imaging with integrated IR illumination for low-light and night-time use, and a weatherproof housing that enables installation both indoors and outdoors. Built-in image enhancement features maintain visibility across challenging lighting conditions, while the compact dome form factor allows discreet placement for residential and commercial security applications.

Advantages

This 2MP HDCVI camera delivers consistent image quality with Wide Dynamic Range (120 dB WDR) to handle scenes that contain strong contrasts between bright and dark areas. 3D digital noise reduction improves clarity in low-light situations without excessively increasing bandwidth or storage demand. Infrared LEDs provide night vision up to approximately 30 meters, and the IP-rated, weather-resistant housing ensures dependable operation in outdoor conditions. The camera’s design supports straightforward integration with HDCVI systems for wired surveillance setups.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Residential perimeter and entryway monitoring
• Small business and retail store surveillance
• Parking lots, garages and outdoor common areas
• Indoor monitoring of corridors, lobbies and storage rooms

Key specifications

• Image sensor resolution: 2 megapixels (Full HD)
• Video format: HDCVI (high-definition analog over coax)
• Night vision: IR illumination effective up to 30 meters
• Wide Dynamic Range: 120 dB WDR for improved contrast handling
• Noise reduction: 3D digital noise reduction (3D-DNR)
• Housing: weather-resistant dome suitable for indoor and outdoor use
• Form factor: compact dome camera for discreet installation

How to use

Install the camera on a stable surface such as a wall or ceiling using appropriate mounts and fasteners. Connect the camera to an HDCVI-compatible recorder or transmission system using coaxial cabling and provide power according to the system design. Aim the camera to cover the intended field of view and adjust its angle within the dome to center critical areas. Configure gain, exposure and WDR settings on the recorder or camera menu to optimize image quality for the local lighting environment.

Recommendations

For best results, position the camera to avoid direct glare from headlights or strong artificial lighting; use WDR to maintain detail in high-contrast scenes. Clean the dome cover periodically to prevent image degradation from dirt or water spots, and ensure all cable connections are sealed for outdoor installations. Regularly check firmware and recorder settings to keep image processing features like 3D-DNR and WDR functioning optimally.
