Bitspower Hardtubing 16 mm AD afgeschuinde messing buis, 500 mm, wit gelakt

Bitspower hard tubing, 16 mm outer diameter, chamfered brass tube with a white finish and a length of 500 mm. This rigid metal tube is engineered for custom liquid-cooling loops in personal computers and workstations, offering durable coolant channels and precision-machined chamfered ends to facilitate secure fittings. The brass construction provides mechanical strength and stable thermal behaviour compared with many plastics, while the white finish gives a consistent aesthetic when visible inside a system.

Advantages

The brass tube combines rigidity and corrosion resistance appropriate for long-term loop installations. Chamfered ends reduce the risk of damaging seals and O-rings during assembly and promote a tight, leak-resistant connection with compatible compression fittings. The 16 mm outer diameter is suitable for compact, neat routing and is compatible with fittings designed for standard hard tubing sizes.

Suitable for

• Custom PC and workstation liquid-cooling loops
• Aesthetic metal tubing visible in system builds
• Replacement or upgrade of existing hard tube runs
• Environments where dimensional stability and rigidity are required

Key specifications

• Material: brass
• Outer diameter: 16 mm
• End machining: chamfered ends for fittings
• Length: 500 mm
• Surface finish: white coating

How to use

Select compression fittings or adapters that match a 16 mm outer diameter hard tube and ensure O-rings or seals are compatible with metal surfaces. Cut the tube to the required length using a fine-toothed saw or appropriate tube cutter designed for metal, then deburr and verify the chamfered end faces are clean before assembly. Insert the tube into the fitting until it seats against the stop, then tighten the compression ring or nut to the manufacturer’s torque recommendations to achieve a leak-free connection. Follow standard safety procedures when cutting and handling metal tubing, including eye protection and gloves.

Recommendations

Before final assembly, perform a pressure or leak test with the loop filled and the system powered off to confirm all connections are sealed. Avoid using aggressive chemicals that may degrade coating or sealing materials; use compatible coolants and follow coolant manufacturer's guidelines. Store unused tubes flat in a dry environment to prevent surface damage or corrosion.
