Black Diamond First Light Hybrid Hoody heren zwart

Typical insulated jackets trap heat but restrict movement; the First Light Hybrid Hoody takes a different path. It pairs a breathable stretch-woven shell with targeted PrimaLoft Silver Insulation Active, placing 60 g/m² of synthetic warmth only across the core and hood. The back and underarms remain uninsulated Schoeller® stretch fabric, so you get ventilation and mobility exactly where high-output climbing demands it.

Highlights

• Hybrid construction: PrimaLoft Silver Insulation Active (60 g/m²) in core and hood, breathable stretch-woven panels in back and underarms
• Schoeller® stretch-woven nylon shell with DWR finish for wind and light weather resistance
• Under-helmet compatible hood with elastic binding for a secure fit
• Two zippered hand pockets and one zippered chest pocket, all harness-compatible
• YKK Vislon main zipper for smooth, durable operation
• Elasticated cuffs and drawcord-adjustable hem seal out drafts
• Packable into its own hand pocket for easy storage in a pack
• Slim, athletic fit layers easily under a shell or over a baselayer

In daily use

On cold morning approaches, the First Light Hybrid Hoody provides instant warmth without the bulk of a full puffy. The PrimaLoft insulation actively manages moisture, so even when you're working hard, you stay dry and comfortable. The four-way stretch fabric allows unrestricted movement, making it ideal for alpine climbing, ski touring, and other high-output pursuits.
