Bordspel HASBRO Battleship strategie – tafelstrategiespel, aanbevolen vanaf 7 jaar

HASBRO Battleship Strategy is a tabletop naval combat game for two players, recommended for ages 7 and up. Players place their fleets on individual folding battle cases, then take turns calling out grid coordinates to search for and sink the opponent’s ships. The set includes plastic ships, colored pegs for hits and misses, a label sheet and instructions, and the portable battle cases serve as both playing boards and storage for components. The gameplay emphasizes turn-based tactical planning, deduction and competitive head-to-head play suitable for family and travel use.

Advantages

HASBRO Battleship Strategy delivers a compact, travel-friendly format with integrated battle cases that double as playing boards and storage. The components are straightforward and durable: plastic ship models and two peg colors provide clear, immediate feedback on hits and misses. The rules support standard search-and-destroy play and include the Salvo option for multiple attacks per turn, adding tactical variety. The game’s simple setup and defined turn structure make it accessible for younger players while still requiring logic and planning for strategic play.

Suitable for

• Two-player head-to-head competitive matches
• Family game nights with children aged 7 and older
• Portable play during travel or short trips
• Teaching basic tactics, spatial reasoning and deduction

Key specifications

• Recommended age: 7 years and up
• Players: 2 (head-to-head)
• Includes: 2 portable battle cases, 10 plastic ships, coloured pegs for hits and misses, label sheet, instruction manual
• Gameplay type: turn-based, strategic deduction
• Format: tabletop/portable case

How to use

Open each portable battle case and assemble the playing grids. Place your fleet of plastic ships on your hidden grid according to the rules and apply any adhesive labels if desired. Players alternate turns calling out grid coordinates on the opponent’s target grid; the opponent responds with hit or miss and marks results with the appropriate coloured pegs. Continue alternating turns, using standard or Salvo rules if playing with multiple attacks, until one player’s fleet is fully sunk. Store all pieces inside the battle cases after play for easy transport and reuse.

Recommendations

For balanced play with younger children, follow the basic rules first and introduce the Salvo option later. Keep the battle cases closed when transporting to avoid losing small pegs and label sheets.
