Bordspel Rebel Dixit Disney – verhalenvertellend illustratiekaartspel (Rebel)

Rebel Dixit Disney is a storytelling illustration card game designed for group play. Each round a player — the storyteller — selects a card depicting a surreal Disney-themed image and gives a verbal clue. Other players choose a card from their hands that best matches that clue; cards are shuffled and revealed, and everyone votes to identify the storyteller’s card. The game combines visual prompts with imaginative description and deduction to create a relaxed, creative tabletop experience suitable for families and mixed-age groups.

Advantages

The game uses richly illustrated Disney-inspired cards that stimulate imagination and support a wide range of verbal clues. Rules are easy to learn, allowing quick setup and play sessions that scale from small family gatherings to larger parties. Gameplay balances creativity and strategy: players earn points both for giving clues that are neither too obvious nor too obscure and for correctly guessing cards. Components are compact and portable, making the game convenient to store or bring to social events.

Suitable for

• Family game nights with children and adults

• Education or speech activities that encourage descriptive language
• Travel or compact-play situations where a small box is preferred

How to use

Shuffle the deck and deal the specified number of illustrated cards to each player. On each turn one player becomes the storyteller and selects a card from their hand, then gives a clue — a word, phrase, sentence, or sound — that relates to the image without revealing it outright. Other players pick a card from their hands that best matches the clue and submit it face down. The submitted cards are shuffled and revealed, then all players vote on which card they believe belongs to the storyteller. Points are awarded according to the rules: storytellers score when some but not all players guess correctly, and guessers score for correct votes. Continue rounds until the end condition from the rulebook is met, then total points to determine the winner.

Recommendations

For best results, encourage imaginative but clear clues and allow flexible interpretation of images. Adjust the number of rounds or time per turn to fit the group’s age and attention span. Use the game to practice descriptive language, foster conversation, or break the ice at gatherings; ensure younger players receive guidance on clue difficulty to keep play engaging for all participants.
