Bosch EasyDrill 1200 1500 RPM keyless 940 g zwart, groen

The Bosch EasyDrill 1200 is a compact pistol-grip drill designed for light to medium DIY drilling tasks. Equipped with a keyless chuck and an adjustable-speed motor that reaches up to 1500 RPM, it is optimized for drilling in wood up to 20 mm. The tool is powered by a 12 V, 1.5 Ah rechargeable battery and includes an integrated LED work light to improve visibility in confined or dimly lit areas. With a weight of approximately 0.94 kg and an ergonomic pistol grip, the drill is intended to deliver improved maneuverability and reduced user fatigue for short to moderate jobs.

Advantages

The pistol-grip design and low weight provide comfortable handling and easier control during drilling and screwdriving operations. The keyless chuck allows quick bit changes without additional tools, while adjustable speed gives better control for different materials and drill bit sizes. The built-in light enhances precision when working in low-light conditions. The cordless battery operation increases portability and eliminates the need for a nearby power outlet.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes in wood up to 20 mm
• Light assembly and furniture installation
• Home repair and maintenance tasks
• Screwdriving in wooden structures and thin panels

Key specifications

• Maximum idle speed: 1500 RPM
• Power source: 12 V rechargeable battery, 1.5 Ah capacity
• Weight: approx. 0.94 kg
• Chuck type: keyless chuck
• Adjustable speed: yes (variable speed control)
• Built-in work light: integrated LED
• Colour: black and green

How to use

Charge the battery fully before initial use and insert it securely into the drill base. Select the appropriate drill bit or screwdriver bit and tighten it in the keyless chuck by hand until it is firmly clamped. Use the adjustable-speed control to set a suitable rpm for the material and bit size; start at a lower speed for pilot holes or delicate materials and increase speed for faster drilling in soft wood. Hold the pistol grip with a steady two-handed stance when required, position the bit perpendicular to the surface, and apply consistent pressure while drilling. Use the integrated LED to illuminate the work area as needed. After use, switch off the tool and remove the battery for storage or charging.

Recommendations

For best results when drilling wood, begin with a smaller pilot hole before enlarging to the final diameter, and choose drill bits rated for wood. Avoid prolonged continuous operation to prevent overheating; allow short cooling intervals during extended use. Store the battery in a cool, dry place and follow manufacturer guidance on charging cycles to maintain battery life.
