Coax-connector F-type Hama 00179404 stekker 2 stuks

The Hama 00179404 Male F-type coaxial connector set includes two silver male F-type connectors designed for secure connections between coaxial cables and devices in audio, video and RF applications. These compact connectors provide a standard F-type interface, allowing reliable transmission of signals in home entertainment systems, set-top boxes, antennas and cable TV installations. The metal finish supports mechanical durability and typical grounding via the coaxial shield.

Advantages

These Hama F-type male connectors offer a standardised, widely compatible connection format for coaxial cabling. Supplied as a set of two, they allow replacement or extension of existing cable runs without changing equipment. The silver metal construction provides mechanical robustness and consistent contact for stable signal transfer. Their compact design makes them suitable for tight installations and straightforward to attach to compatible coaxial cables.

How to use

Strip the coaxial cable to the appropriate length according to the connector's installation requirements, ensuring the centre conductor and shield are exposed correctly for insertion. Slide the connector onto the prepared cable end and secure it following the connector's mounting method (push-on or screw-on depending on the specific connector design). Verify that the centre conductor makes firm contact and the shield is engaged to ensure proper grounding and signal continuity. Repeat the procedure for the second connector if required.

Recommendations

For optimal signal quality, use these Hama F-type male connectors with compatible coaxial cables of appropriate impedance (typically 75 Ω) and avoid over-tightening when attaching to devices to prevent mechanical stress. Inspect connections periodically for corrosion or looseness in environments with high humidity or temperature variation.
