Computermonitor Acer NITRO XV2 XV242 F 61,2 cm (24,1 inch) Full HD 1920 x 1080

The Acer NITRO XV2 XV242 F is a 24.1" Full HD (1920 x 1080) computer monitor designed for everyday computing and basic gaming. It uses a TN panel with a native 16:9 aspect ratio and a flat screen shape. The display offers a typical brightness of 400 cd/m² and a typical contrast ratio of 1000:1. The monitor includes built-in speakers, VESA mounting compatibility and an adjustable-height stand in a black finish.

Advantages

The TN panel delivers fast pixel response characteristics suitable for motion clarity. A 24.1" Full HD screen provides a balance between desktop space and sharpness for documents, web browsing and video playback. Built-in speakers reduce the need for separate audio hardware, while VESA mounting and height adjustment allow flexible positioning for ergonomic setups. The monitor's typical brightness and contrast ratio support clear visuals in a range of indoor lighting conditions.

Suitable for

• General office work and multitasking
• Web browsing, streaming video and media consumption
• Casual and entry-level gaming where motion responsiveness is useful
• Setups requiring VESA mounting or height-adjustable screens

When it may not be suitable

This monitor uses a TN panel, which typically has more limited colour reproduction and narrower vertical viewing angles compared with IPS or VA panels; this may not meet the needs of professional photo or video editors who require precise colour accuracy. The listed response time is 100 ms, so users seeking the absolute fastest gaming display or ultra-low input lag should compare to monitors with lower response time figures.

• Audio needs: Built-in speakers are present but may not replace dedicated audio solutions.

Recommendations

For comfortable use, position the monitor so the top of the screen is at or slightly below eye level and maintain an arm's length distance. Calibrate brightness and contrast for your environment, and consider external speakers or headphones if you need improved sound quality.
