COUGAR VORTEX ARGB VX120 computerbehuizing ventilator 12 cm zwart 1 stuk

COUGAR VORTEX VX120 ARGB case fan combines addressable RGB lighting with efficient airflow to improve chassis cooling. The fan features a light ring and illuminated blades driven by 24 ARGB LEDs and connects via a 5V ARGB header for synchronized lighting control. Its frame design concentrates airflow while Hydro Dynamic Bearings (HDB) and PWM control provide reduced noise, adjustable speeds from 600 to 1500 RPM, and extended lifetime. Rubber anti-vibration dampers at the four corners minimize resonance and mounting noise.

Advantages

The VX120 provides multi-angle ARGB illumination through a dual lighting source (light ring and blades) and is compatible with major motherboard lighting ecosystems including ASUS Aura Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light and ASRock Polychrome. The VORTEX frame improves airflow concentration for better cooling, HDB reduces bearing noise and wear, and PWM allows automatic speed adjustment for balance between silence and performance. Rubber dampers reduce vibration when mounted.

Key specifications

• Lighting: 5V ARGB, 24 addressable LEDs
• Speed: PWM-controlled, 600–1500 RPM
• Bearing type: Hydro Dynamic Bearing (HDB)
• Anti-vibration: Rubber dampers on four corners
• Compatibility: ASUS Aura Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light, ASRock Polychrome

How to use

Connect the fan's 5V ARGB cable to a compatible 5V ARGB header on the motherboard to enable synchronized lighting control, and connect the power/PWM cable to a fan header for speed control. If available, enable PWM control in the motherboard BIOS or software to allow automatic speed adjustment between 600 and 1500 RPM. Mount the fan using the supplied screws and ensure rubber dampers align with the mounting holes to reduce vibration. For expanded lighting or control options, optionally connect the fan to the COUGAR CORE BOX V3 controller.

Recommendations

Use a motherboard with a 5V ARGB header and compatible lighting software to fully utilize the VX120’s addressable lighting. Consider the COUGAR CORE BOX V3 controller if you require centralized ARGB management or additional performance tuning.
