DEFA eConnect Zwart Type 2 7,5m 22kW 32A

DEFA eConnect Black Type 2 7.5m 22kW 32A is a Mode 3 EV charging cable for Type 2 inlets. The 7.5 m cable supports up to 22 kW and 32 A for three-phase charging at 480 V. It is designed for everyday charging use and engineered to remain flexible and durable in a wide range of temperatures and weather conditions.

Advantages

The cable remains soft and flexible in severe cold, which simplifies handling, coiling and storage at low temperatures. Lightweight construction and ergonomic plug grips with different angles for the charger and vehicle sides improve user handling. Robust materials and terminals resist heat and moisture. The retractable smart cap shields the Type 2 connector from water and dirt and is designed to hang upside down during charging to avoid collecting debris. The connector plugs are resin-free and recyclable for easier material separation and lower environmental impact.

Suitable for

• Charging electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids with a Type 2 inlet
• Home, workplace and public charge points supporting Mode 3 Type 2 charging
• Cold climates and Nordic conditions where flexibility at low temperatures is required

During charging, the retractable cap remains attached and hangs upside down to protect the connector from dirt and water. Recommendations

Store the cable coiled and dry when not in use. Use the supplied velcro strap or a dedicated cable bag or lockable docking station (available separately) to protect the cable and connector from theft and contamination. Regularly inspect connectors and cable sheath for damage and avoid exposing the cable to sharp edges or chemicals.
