DELOCK USB-C-naar-HDMI-adapter (DP Alt Mode) 4K 60 Hz met HDR en HDCP

The DELOCK USB Type-C to HDMI adapter (DP Alt Mode) 4K 60 Hz with HDR and HDCP converts a USB-C video output into an HDMI signal, supporting resolutions up to 3840 × 2160 at 60 Hz. The adapter uses DisplayPort Alt Mode over USB-C to carry high-bandwidth video and includes HDR support for wider color and contrast range. With HDCP compatibility it can display protected content on external HDMI displays and TVs. The compact single-unit design connects laptops, tablets and smartphones with a USB-C video output to HDMI-enabled monitors, projectors or televisions for presentations, streaming and general screen extension or mirroring.

Advantages

The adapter transmits 4K video at 60 Hz via DP Alt Mode, ensuring smooth motion for high-resolution content. HDR support enhances color depth and dynamic range on compatible displays. HDCP compatibility allows playback of protected media from streaming services and other sources. The plug-and-play form factor requires no drivers on most systems and the single-cable connection simplifies setup between USB-C devices and HDMI displays.

Ensure the external display is set to the correct HDMI input and that the source device is configured for output (mirror or extend display) in the operating system display settings. For HDR and 4K 60 Hz output, verify that both the source device and the display support the required resolution, refresh rate and HDR mode.

Recommendations

Use a high-quality HDMI cable rated for 4K at 60 Hz and HDR to ensure reliable signal transmission. If the connected device does not detect the display, check that the USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and that any necessary display output settings are enabled on the source device.
