DisplayPort-kabel Akasa AK-CBDP26-20BK — 20 m, DisplayPort naar DisplayPort, ondersteunt tot 8K

Akasa AK-CBDP26-20BK is a 20-metre DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable engineered for long-distance transmission of high-resolution digital video and audio signals. Designed to carry up to 8K resolution, the cable connects DisplayPort-equipped PCs, graphics cards, monitors and AV devices over an extended run without needing repeaters in many installations. Its length and bandwidth make it suitable for conference rooms, workstation setups and home-theatre layouts where a reliable direct DisplayPort link is required.

Advantages

The construction of this DisplayPort cable focuses on maintaining signal integrity across 20 metres while supporting high bandwidth necessary for 8K video. It enables a single-cable connection for audio and video, reduces the number of intermediate converters, and provides a stable link for applications that demand consistent frame rates and colour accuracy. The cable’s length allows flexible routing in larger rooms or between separated equipment racks.

Suitable for

• Connecting a desktop or graphics workstation to a distant monitor or projector
• AV installations in conference rooms and meeting spaces
• Home theatre systems that require long cable runs to displays
• Digital signage and public-display setups where the source is remotely located

Key specifications

• Connector type: DisplayPort to DisplayPort
• Cable length: 20 metres
• Maximum supported resolution: up to 8K (dependent on source and sink capabilities)
• Signal type: digital video and audio transmission
• Intended use: long-reach DisplayPort connections for PCs, monitors and AV equipment

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort end to the source device such as a PC or GPU and the other end to the target display or AV receiver. Ensure both source and display support the desired resolution and refresh rate; adjust display settings in the operating system or GPU control panel if necessary. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of electromagnetic interference; secure it along racks or under floors where applicable. For best results, verify cable seating in the DisplayPort sockets and power cycle devices after connection if signal negotiation fails.

Recommendations

Use this 20 m DisplayPort cable in environments where long, single-cable runs are needed and where both source and display support high-bandwidth DisplayPort modes. For maximum resolution and refresh rate, confirm that connected devices and graphics settings match the cable’s capabilities. Avoid tight bends and excessive stress on connectors to preserve signal quality over time.
