DisplayPort-kabel ShiverPeaks 8K 7,5 m — DisplayPort naar DisplayPort, 7,5 m lengte

DisplayPort cable ShiverPeaks 8K 7.5 m — DisplayPort to DisplayPort, 7.5m length is a DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort connection cable intended for transmitting high-resolution video and audio between compatible devices. With a 7.5-metre length it enables flexible placement of PCs, monitors and AV equipment in larger workspaces or home setups. The product name indicates support for 8K-capable devices, making it suitable for long-reach display connections and multi-monitor arrangements where a single-cable DisplayPort link is required.

Advantages

The ShiverPeaks cable offers extended reach with a 7.5 m length while maintaining a single-cable DisplayPort connection for video and audio. Its DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort design provides a straightforward link between source and display without adapters. The cable is intended to support high-resolution signals as referenced in the model name, enabling connection of 4K and 8K-capable equipment where compatible. The long length simplifies routing in office, studio or home environments and reduces the need for signal extenders in many setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs or workstations to monitors at a distance up to 7.5 m
• Multi-monitor configurations where a DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort link is required
• Home theater or AV setups that use DisplayPort-equipped sources and displays
• Workstations and studios needing a long cable run without using adapters

Key specifications

• Connector type: DisplayPort to DisplayPort
• Cable length: 7.5 metres
• Designed for high-resolution video and audio transmission (model indicates 8K capability)
• Intended for use with PCs, monitors and compatible AV equipment

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort end to the source device (for example a PC graphics card) and the other end to the DisplayPort input on the monitor or display. Ensure both devices are powered and select the correct input on the display. For optimal results, confirm that both source and display support the required resolution and refresh rate. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it to prevent stress on connectors.

Recommendations

Use the cable in environments where the 7.5 m length is required and both devices support DisplayPort connections. Verify device compatibility for 8K or other high resolutions and use cable management to prevent kinks. If you experience signal limitations at very high resolutions or refresh rates, check device settings and consider using certified active extenders or shorter runs if necessary.
