Dockingstation Dell UD22 USB-C Power Delivery Dual Display

Dell UD22 USB-C Power Delivery Dual Display is a compact docking station that connects compatible laptops using a single USB-C cable to provide dual external display output, power delivery to the host, and expanded peripheral connectivity. Designed for office and home workstations, the dock consolidates ports to simplify single-cable docking and streamline desktop setups while maintaining a small footprint.

Advantages

The docking station supports dual external displays and delivers power to the connected laptop via USB-C Power Delivery, reducing cable clutter and enabling a fast transition between mobile and desktop use. It provides multiple I/O options for peripherals and network access while maintaining a compact design suitable for limited desk space. The device is compatible with USB-C systems that support video and power over a single connection, enabling simplified connectivity and improved workflow efficiency.

Suitable for

• Office workstations that require multiple monitors and reliable peripheral connections
• Home offices where a single-cable connection to a laptop is preferred
• Hot-desking or shared workspaces where quick laptop docking and undocking is needed
• Presentations or meetings that need dual-screen output for content sharing

Key specifications

• Connection to host: USB-C with Power Delivery and video support
• Display output: supports two external displays (via supported video ports and configurations)
• Power delivery: delivers power to the connected laptop through USB-C Power Delivery
• Peripheral connectivity: multiple USB ports for mice, keyboards, storage and other devices
• Network: wired Ethernet port for stable LAN connection
• Design: compact desktop form factor suitable for limited desk space

How to use

Connect the docking station to a compatible laptop using the supplied USB-C cable that supports Power Delivery and video. Attach one or two external monitors to the dock's display outputs, connect peripherals such as keyboard, mouse and external storage to the available USB ports, and plug an Ethernet cable if a wired network is required. Ensure the host laptop's USB-C port supports video output and power delivery; the laptop should detect external displays and peripherals automatically in most operating systems. If necessary, adjust display settings on the laptop to configure resolution and monitor arrangement.

Recommendations

Use the dock with laptops that explicitly support USB-C video output and Power Delivery for optimal functionality. For stable multi-monitor performance, use display cables that match the dock and monitor capabilities, and keep firmware and system drivers up to date. Place the docking station on a flat, ventilated surface and avoid covering vents to maintain device reliability.
