Domecamera ALLNET ALL-CAM2495v3-LVEFN 5 MP IR low-light vandalismebestendig

ALLNET ALL-CAM2495v3-LVEFN is a 5MP dome camera engineered for low-light surveillance with integrated infrared illumination and a vandal-resistant enclosure. The camera delivers high-resolution color images in daytime and clear monochrome images at night using IR LEDs, reducing dependence on external lighting. Its dome form factor and robust housing make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor monitoring points such as entrances, corridors and parking zones where durability and discreet installation are required.

Advantages

The camera offers 5 megapixel resolution for detailed video capture, combined with low-light sensitivity and built-in IR illumination to maintain image clarity after dark. A vandal-resistant dome housing protects the optical components from impact and tampering, while weatherproof construction supports outdoor deployment. PoE compatibility simplifies installation by allowing power and data through a single cable, and wide dynamic range helps preserve detail in scenes with mixed lighting.

Suitable for

• Monitoring building entrances and lobbies
• Corridor and stairwell surveillance
• Parking lots and outdoor perimeter observation
• Retail areas requiring unobtrusive ceiling-mounted cameras
• Industrial or public spaces where vandal resistance is needed

Key specifications

• Image sensor resolution: 5 megapixels for high-detail video
• Low-light performance with integrated infrared LEDs for night vision
• Dome form factor with vandal-resistant housing
• Indoor and outdoor suitable construction with weather protection
• Power over Ethernet (PoE) support for simplified cabling
• Wide dynamic range to handle scenes with strong contrast

How to use

Mount the dome camera on a secure ceiling or wall surface using appropriate anchors for the substrate. Aim the lens to cover the desired field of view and connect the network cable; if PoE is used, the camera will receive power and data through the same cable. Configure basic settings via the camera’s web interface or a compatible VMS: set resolution, frame rate, exposure, and IR mode according to the installation environment. Verify night-time performance by observing the IR illumination coverage and adjusting camera angle or sensitivity if necessary.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, install the camera at a height that limits direct tampering while ensuring the required field of view. Clean the dome cover periodically to avoid image degradation from dust or condensation. When deploying outdoors, confirm cable entry points are sealed and use network switches with PoE provisioning or inline PoE injectors sized to the camera’s power requirements.
