How to use

Install a compatible SIM card in the MF258 modem and connect the modem to the Z1200 router according to the included cabling instructions. Power on both devices and access the router's web interface to configure the mobile network APN settings if required by your mobile operator. Configure Wi‑Fi network name (SSID) and password, set up any preferred LAN settings and ensure DHCP is enabled for automatic IP assignment to connected devices. After basic configuration, connect client devices via Wi‑Fi or Ethernet to start using shared internet access.

Recommendations

Place the modem and router in a location with good cellular signal and avoid obstructed or metal‑enclosed spaces. For stable performance, monitor mobile data usage and select a data plan that meets expected traffic. Use the router's default security settings or set a strong Wi‑Fi password and change the administrative password to reduce unauthorized access.
