Netwerkkabel Sacon 442601,025 25m Cat6 S/FTP grijs

The Sacon 442601,025 25m Cat6 S/FTP Grey networking cable provides a ready-made solution for reliable wired network connections. Built to Cat6 standards with S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs), this cable is terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and comes in a neutral grey jacket. It is intended for structured cabling where reduction of crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference is required, and for delivering gigabit-speed performance over a 25 metre run.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall braided shield and foil shielding around each twisted pair, improving protection against near-end crosstalk and external EMI compared with unshielded cables. Cat6 specification supports higher frequency transmission and better performance for gigabit Ethernet and PoE applications over typical office and home distances. Pre-terminated RJ-45 connectors save installation time and ensure correct pinout and contact reliability without the need for on-site crimping.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections between switches, routers and endpoints
• Wired home and office networks requiring reduced interference
• Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices within standard Cat6 distance limits
• Temporary or permanent network runs where a 25 m length is appropriate

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 25 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45, pre-terminated
• Color: Grey jacket
• Supported applications: Gigabit Ethernet, PoE

How to use

Route the cable avoiding sharp bends, kinks and proximity to high-power electrical lines to minimize interference. Insert the RJ-45 connectors into the appropriate ports on network devices until the latch clicks. For best performance, keep the total channel length within Cat6 guidelines and avoid exceeding 25 metres for a single run if additional patch cords and patch panels are part of the channel. Inspect connectors for damage before use and replace the cable if there are signs of wear or compromised shielding.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, install the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference, maintain bend radius recommendations (typically four times the cable diameter), and pair with Cat6-compliant network equipment. When using PoE, verify device power requirements against cable distance and termination quality.
