EDELRID Cruiser Night rechtshandige stijgijzer

The EDELRID Cruiser Night stands apart from conventional hand ascenders by pairing a toothed stainless steel cam with an ergonomic, rubberized handle—engineered for confident single-hand operation in demanding vertical environments. Its right-hand orientation and self-cleaning cam slot keep performance consistent even in gritty, icy, or muddy conditions, while the integrated safety catch prevents accidental disengagement from the rope.

Highlights

• Right-handed ergonomic design with rubberized grip for secure handling
• Toothed stainless steel cam with self-cleaning slot for reliable bite on 8–13 mm ropes
• Integrated safety catch prevents unintentional opening under load
• Aluminum alloy body with high corrosion resistance for long service life
• Upper and lower attachment points for versatile rigging in ascent, hauling, and rescue systems
• Certified to EN 567 for professional and recreational rope access

In daily use

Whether you are climbing a fixed line, setting up a hauling system, or performing a rescue, the Cruiser Night responds instantly to your hand movement. The cam engages smoothly and releases with a deliberate thumb press, reducing the risk of snagging. The black/red night colourway adds visibility in low light without compromising a professional appearance. The lightweight aluminum body keeps fatigue at bay during long ascents, and the stainless steel cam maintains its edge over thousands of cycles.
