Eenpersoons luchtmatras Outwell 400114 — PVC, 800×2000×300 mm, groen/grijs

The Outwell 400114 single air mattress combines a firm flocked edge with a soft velour sleeping surface to balance stability and comfort. Constructed from durable PVC, the mattress includes a double-seal valve for reliable inflation and a carry bag for transport and storage. Dimensions are approximately 2000 mm long, 800 mm wide and 300 mm high, suitable for one adult.

Advantages

The flocked construction provides a firm outer edge that improves sleeping stability, while the velour top enhances comfort and reduces slipping of bedding. Tough PVC ensures durability and resistance to typical outdoor use. The double-seal valve simplifies inflation and helps retain air, and the included carry bag makes the mattress easy to carry and store.

Suitable for

• Camping trips and outdoor stays
• Guest beds for occasional indoor use
• Backpacking or travel when a compact, single sleeping surface is needed
• Individuals up to approximately 150 kg

When it may not be suitable

This single air mattress is not intended as a permanent replacement for a domestic sprung or foam mattress; long-term daily use may feel less supportive over time. It is also not designed for users who need specialised medical or orthopaedic support.

Key specifications

• Type: Single air mattress
• Material: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) with velour top and flocked edge
• External dimensions (approx.): 2000 mm × 800 mm × 300 mm (L × W × H)
• Maximum recommended load: 150 kg
• Colour: Green and grey
• Valve: Double-seal inflation valve
• Pack contents: 1 mattress and carry bag

How to use

Inflate the mattress using a compatible pump or the manufacturer’s recommended method until it reaches a comfortable firmness, ensuring the double-seal valve is closed to retain air. Place on a flat, clean surface and use bedding as required. To pack away, open the valve to release air, roll the mattress tightly from the foot towards the valve to expel remaining air, then fold and store in the carry bag.

What to consider before purchase

• Intended use: occasional camping or guest use versus daily, long-term sleeping
• Required dimensions to fit tents, cots or indoor spaces
• Maximum user weight and number of users (single-person design, max ~150 kg)
• Need for a pump (pump not included unless specified)

Recommendations

For best results, place a thin groundsheet or sleeping pad under the mattress to protect the PVC from sharp objects and to improve insulation. Check valve closure after inflation and avoid overinflation which can stress seams.
