Epson UltraChrome Pro6 inktpatroon 1 stuks origineel zwart

The Epson UltraChrome Pro6 ink cartridge Original Black 1600 ml is a professional-grade pigment ink designed for high-volume monochrome and mixed-media printing. This 1600 ml black cartridge delivers consistent, predictable black density and tonal gradation thanks to an aqueous all-pigment UltraChrome Pro6 formulation that includes enhanced gray and dedicated black inks for photo and matte output. Prints dry quickly with a surface that resists scratching and moisture, providing long-lasting results suitable for exhibition prints, proofs and archival images.

Advantages

Original Epson pigment formulation provides reliable colour stability and long-term image durability. The large 1600 ml capacity reduces the frequency of cartridge changes for high-volume workflows. The Pro6 chemistry yields improved gray scale and black-and-white tonal expression while producing near-dry prints that are resistant to smudging and moisture. Compatibility with a photo and matte black pair supports good results across glossy, semi-matte and matte media.

Suitable for

• Fine art and photographic prints
• Proofing and pre-press applications
• High-volume monochrome production
• Museums, galleries and archival printing

Key specifications

• Ink type: Aqueous pigment-based formulation
• Colour: Black (including enhanced gray tonal support)
• Volume: 1600 ml
• Finish: Near-dry surface with scratch and moisture resistance
• Media compatibility: Photo and matte papers, fine art media, coated and uncoated substrates

How to use

Install the cartridge according to the printer manufacturer's instructions for your Epson-compatible device. Allow the printer to perform any automated priming or nozzle checks after insertion. For best results, select the correct media type and black/gray handling settings in the print driver (photo or matte black selection where available). Monitor ink levels and replace the cartridge when print density decreases to maintain consistent output.

Recommendations

Store cartridges upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use within the manufacturer’s recommended period after opening for optimal performance. When switching between photo and matte black media, run a short nozzle check and, if necessary, a head cleaning cycle to ensure uniform black density.
