Externe rondomstralende antenne Poynting A-EPNT-0002-V3-01 5G LTE SMA, wit

Poynting A-EPNT-0002-V3-01 is an external omnidirectional antenna designed for 5G and LTE networks with an SMA connector. Built for outdoor mounting, this white antenna delivers uniform reception around the unit to enhance mobile data performance and signal stability for routers, gateways and modems. The antenna is intended for residential and small business environments where improved cellular connectivity is needed.

Advantages

The antenna offers omnidirectional coverage that reduces dead zones and supports consistent signal strength from multiple cell sectors without manual aiming. Its outdoor-rated enclosure protects internal components from weather exposure while keeping a compact, low-profile appearance. The SMA connector provides compatibility with a wide range of consumer and industrial networking devices, enabling quick installation and replacement when needed.

Suitable for

• Enhancing 5G or LTE reception for home routers and mobile broadband gateways
• Improving signal stability for remote or semi-urban small business sites
• Outdoor installations requiring omnidirectional coverage around a building or mast
• Temporary or permanent setups where an SMA-terminated antenna is required

Key specifications

• Frequency support: 5G and LTE cellular bands
• Polarisation: omnidirectional pattern
• Connector type: SMA (male or female depending on device cable compatibility)
• Housing colour: white
• Mounting: outdoor pole or wall mount compatible (compact design for low visual impact)
• Environmental protection: weather-resistant enclosure suitable for outdoor use

How to use

Mount the antenna outdoors in a location with clear access to the sky and minimal obstructions for best omnidirectional performance. Secure the unit using a compatible pole or wall mount and route the SMA cable to the router, gateway or modem. Connect the SMA plug to the corresponding antenna port on the device, ensuring a snug fit. After installation, verify signal levels in the router or modem interface and adjust mounting height or position if necessary to optimize reception.

Recommendations

Place the antenna away from large metal objects and sources of electromagnetic interference. For multi-antenna systems or MIMO configurations, maintain recommended spacing between antennas as specified by the network equipment manufacturer. Regularly inspect mounting hardware and cable connections for corrosion or wear to ensure continued outdoor performance.
