Faber-Castell Jumbo GRIP 110953 kleurpotlood blauw

The Faber-Castell Jumbo GRIP 110953 Blue is a coloured pencil with a thick triangular barrel designed to fit comfortably in small hands and provide a secure hold. The pencil features a patented Soft-Grip zone that reduces hand fatigue, a break-resistant lead thanks to SV bonding, and completely water-soluble pigments that allow you to transform drawings into watercolour effects by applying a wet brush. The pencil is finished with an environmentally friendly water-based varnish, has space to write the owner’s name, and is available individually in 26 colours.

Advantages

The ergonomic triangular shape and Soft-Grip zone offer a non-slip, comfortable grip for extended use. The coloured lead contains light-resistant pigments for lasting colour, is fully water-soluble for watercolour techniques, and is reinforced with SV bonding to reduce breakage. The pencil can be washed out of most fabrics and is coated with an eco-friendly water-based varnish.

How to use

Use the Jumbo GRIP pencil for drawing and colouring directly on paper. To create watercolour effects, draw with the blue pencil and then apply a wet paintbrush to the drawn area to dissolve the pigment and blend colours. Store the pencil horizontally or in a pencil case to protect the lead; sharpen with a suitable sharpener for jumbo pencils when needed.

Recommendations

For best results with watercolour effects, test the amount of water on scrap paper first to control colour intensity. Keep out of reach of very young children when not supervised and write the owner’s name in the designated space on the pencil.
