Fan QNAP FAN-7CM-T01 computerkoelsysteem universeel zwart

The QNAP FAN-7CM-T01 is a 7 cm system cooling fan designed for targeted heat dissipation in compact computer enclosures and electronics. With a maximum rotational speed of 3500 RPM and 12 V operation, this fan provides steady airflow in a small form factor. Its dimensions of 70 mm × 70 mm × 25 mm and neutral black finish make it suitable for a variety of mounting locations where space is limited and reliable airflow is required.

Advantages

The fan delivers a high rotational speed for its size, allowing effective heat removal from components in tight spaces. Its compact 70 mm diameter and shallow 25 mm depth enable installation in small cases, network devices, or custom enclosures. Operating at 12 V ensures compatibility with common motherboard and power supply headers. The black colour offers a discreet appearance that blends with most system interiors.

Suitable for

• Cooling small computer cases and compact PC builds
• Ventilation for NAS enclosures, network switches, and storage systems
• Replacement or upgrade of existing 70 mm fans in servers or workstations
• Custom electronics projects and compact industrial enclosures

Key specifications

• Fan diameter: 70 mm
• Dimensions (W × D × H): 70 mm × 70 mm × 25 mm
• Operating voltage: 12 V
• Maximum rotational speed: 3500 RPM
• Colour: Black
• Type: Fan

How to use

Mount the fan in the desired location using appropriate screws or mounting hardware for a 70 mm fan opening, ensuring the airflow direction matches the cooling requirements of the system. Connect the fan to a suitable 12 V power source such as a motherboard fan header or power adapter, observing proper connector orientation and ensuring the unit is secured to prevent vibration. Verify that airflow is not obstructed by cables or components and that clearances match the fan's 25 mm thickness.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, place the fan where it can move air unobstructed and maintain periodic cleaning to remove dust buildup. When used as a replacement, confirm connector compatibility and mounting hole alignment. In systems that support fan speed control, reducing voltage or using PWM control can lower noise while still providing adequate cooling.
