Fitting Alphacool 17473 — messing 23 mm hoogte, 26 mm diameter, zwart

Alphacool 17473 is a compact brass fitting for PC liquid cooling systems, finished in black. With a height of 23 mm, diameter of 26 mm and a weight of 42 g, this metal fitting is intended to join or adapt tubing and components inside custom water-cooling loops. The brass construction offers mechanical strength and thermal stability, while the black finish provides a neutral appearance that integrates with common cooling components.

Advantages

The solid brass body ensures long-term durability and resistance to deformation under mechanical stress. The compact dimensions make it suitable for tight spaces inside cases and radiator assemblies. The black surface treatment reduces visible contrast with tubing and other black components, and the metal design contributes to secure, leak-resistant connections when used with appropriate tubing and clamps or compression fittings.

Suitable for

• Joining or adapting soft or hard tubing in custom PC water-cooling loops
• Use in compact system layouts or near radiators and pump/reservoir assemblies
• Replacement of worn plastic fittings to increase longevity and strength

Key specifications

• Material: brass
• Finish: black
• Height: 23 mm
• Diameter: 26 mm
• Weight: 42 g

How to use

Install the fitting by placing it into the tubing or mating component according to the chosen connection method (push-fit, clamp, or compression). Ensure mating surfaces are clean and free of debris before assembly. When using clamps or compression rings, tighten to the manufacturer's recommended torque or until a secure seal is achieved without over-compressing the tubing. After installation, perform a pressure or leak test of the loop before powering system components.

Recommendations

Use compatible tubing and sealing methods suited for brass fittings; avoid excessive bending or force during installation. Periodically inspect connections for signs of wear, corrosion or leakage and replace seals or fittings if necessary.
