Fujitsu S26391-F2112-B221 laptop-onderdeel toetsenbord

The Fujitsu S26391-F2112-B221 keyboard is a German-layout replacement keyboard engineered for Lifebook A557 laptops. It provides a comfortable typing surface with responsive scissor-switch style keys and a solid frame designed to fit the laptop chassis without modification. The unit is intended as a direct replacement to restore full keyboard functionality and maintain the original layout and key legends.

Advantages

This Fujitsu laptop keyboard offers a precise key response and consistent actuation force across the keyboard, helping to reduce typing errors. The durable construction and reinforced mounting points improve longevity and reduce the likelihood of flex or failure under normal use. Because it uses the original layout intended for the Lifebook A557, installation preserves the laptop’s look and keycap orientation for German-language users.

How to use

Power off the laptop and remove the battery (if removable) before beginning the replacement. Open the laptop chassis as required to access the keyboard assembly, typically by removing the top case or bezel and any retaining screws. Disconnect the old keyboard’s flat cable from the motherboard connector, remove the old keyboard, position the Fujitsu replacement keyboard, and secure it using the original screws or clips. Reconnect the flat cable carefully, reassemble the laptop, and test all keys after powering on to confirm correct operation.

Recommendations

Use a static-free workspace and an appropriate set of precision screwdrivers when performing the replacement. Avoid excessive force when connecting or seating the flat cable; ensure the connector latch is fully open before inserting the cable. If unsure about disassembly, consult a service manual for the Lifebook A557 or seek professional installation to prevent damage to the laptop.
