GARDENA robotmaaier connector / klem 04089-20, rood

The GARDENA Robot Mower Connector / clamp - 04089-20 is an accessory designed for use with GARDENA robotic lawn mower installations. This red connector/clamp is intended to secure and join boundary or guide wires, ensuring reliable electrical contact and mechanical stability within the perimeter wiring system of an automated mowing setup. It is manufactured to meet the compatibility and durability expectations of GARDENA outdoor equipment.

Advantages

The connector provides a compact and easy-to-install solution for joining or repairing boundary and guide wires without the need for soldering or complex tools. Its molded housing and color-coded design simplify identification during installation and maintenance. The clamp is built to withstand typical outdoor conditions encountered in robotic lawn mower systems and helps maintain consistent signal transmission along the guide circuit.

Suitable for

• Joining boundary or guide wires of robotic lawn mower systems
• Repairing breaks in perimeter wiring
• Securing wire connections during installation or seasonal maintenance

Key specifications

• Intended application: connector/clamp for robotic lawn mower boundary/guide wiring
• Color: red
• Construction: molded connector housing designed for outdoor use with low-voltage signal wires
• Compatibility: for use within GARDENA robotic lawn mower perimeter and guide wire systems

How to use

Prepare the sections of boundary or guide wire to be joined by stripping a short length of insulation as recommended in the robotic mower installation manual. Insert each stripped conductor into the connector until it seats securely, then close the clamp according to the manufacturer's instructions to establish mechanical and electrical contact. Ensure the joined section is positioned and buried or fixed as specified for the perimeter wire to avoid disturbance by lawn care activities.

Recommendations

Use the connector in accordance with the robotic mower system's installation guide and local safety guidelines. Verify electrical continuity after installation and periodically inspect exposed connectors for corrosion or mechanical wear. Replace the connector if the housing is damaged or if signal reliability is compromised.
