Gatenzaag Bosch ToughMaterial 152 mm 2608900444 — voor boren in harde materialen

Bosch ToughMaterial hole saw with a 152 mm cutting diameter is designed to create large, precise circular openings in hard construction materials. Compatible with standard drill drivers and the appropriate mandrel, this accessory is aimed at tasks such as installing pipework, ventilation ducts and routing large cables. The geometry and cutting edge are engineered for durability and steady performance when working with demanding substrates.

Advantages

The hole saw provides a consistent 152 mm bore with clean edges and reduced chipping on many hard surfaces. Its robust design extends service life under frequent use and helps maintain cut accuracy over repeated operations. The tool is simple to mount on commonly used drill mandrels and delivers reliable performance in both professional and DIY environments.

Suitable for

• Making large-diameter openings for pipes and conduits
• Installing ventilation and HVAC ducts
• Routing large cable bundles through walls or panels
• Creating neat pass-throughs in construction and renovation projects

Key specifications

• Cutting diameter: 152 mm
• Intended material class: hard materials (concrete, masonry, dense panels and similar substrates)
• Design: bi-metal/engineered cutting edge for improved wear resistance
• Compatibility: designed for use with standard hole saw mandrels and compatible drill drivers
• Application: dry cutting or with light cooling depending on material and jobsite requirements

How to use

Select a mandrel and drill driver rated for the hole saw diameter and expected cutting loads, then secure the hole saw onto the mandrel following the manufacturer's mounting procedure. Mark the center point of the desired opening and use a pilot drill or the mandrel's guide to start. Begin cutting at low speed to establish the hole, then apply steady pressure while increasing speed as appropriate for the material. Retract periodically to clear debris and check progress. After cutting, remove the hole saw and clean the cut edge as needed.

Recommendations

For longer tool life and improved cut quality in very dense or abrasive materials, use appropriate cooling or periodic pauses to reduce heat buildup, and ensure the drill driver provides steady torque. Wear suitable personal protective equipment and follow site safety practices when cutting hard construction materials.
