Glorious Gaming Switch Plate toetsenbord-switchplate

The Glorious GMMK PRO Switch Plate is a replacement switch plate designed for the GMMK PRO keyboard, available in a brushed-gold brass option and a translucent polycarbonate option. It allows users to change the material of the switch plate to alter typing sound and feel while maintaining compatibility with the GMMK PRO form factor and straightforward installation.

Advantages

Changing the switch plate gives direct control over acoustic and tactile properties: the brass plate produces a higher, more musical tone and firmer feedback, while the polycarbonate plate yields a deeper, fuller sound with increased thock and a slightly softer feel. Installation is simple and requires only a screwdriver, and the gold-coloured brass provides a durable, visually distinct finish that fits the GMMK PRO.

Suitable for

• Users who want to alter keyboard sound signature (brass — brighter, polycarbonate — deeper)
• Enthusiasts customizing the feel and feedback of their GMMK PRO
• Builders seeking a durable, gold-coloured aesthetic for the GMMK PRO

How to use

Power down and disassemble your GMMK PRO following the manufacturer’s guidance. Remove the existing switch plate using a screwdriver, align the replacement plate with the standoff and switch positions, then secure it in place. Reinstall switches and stabilizers, and reassemble the keyboard. Some third-party stabilizers (for example, certain Durock stabilizers) may require slight modification to fit properly with the brass plate.

Recommendations

Choose the brass plate if you prefer a firmer, higher-pitched feedback and a gold finish; choose polycarbonate if you prefer a deeper, thockier sound and a slightly softer feel. Test different switch and stabilizer combinations to achieve the desired acoustics and typing experience.
