GLORIOUS GPBT backlit keycaps — ANSI-layout, PBT-materiaal, zwart

GLORIOUS GPBT Backlit Keycaps in ANSI layout are replacement keycaps designed for keyboards that support backlighting. Crafted from PBT material and finished in black, this set provides a durable surface texture and a consistent profile across keys. The keycaps accommodate illuminated switches and are compatible with standard ANSI key spacing and row profiles, making them suitable for mechanical keyboards that accept removable keycaps.

Advantages

The PBT construction offers improved wear resistance and reduced shine compared with standard ABS keycaps, while the black color provides a uniform aesthetic that integrates with most keyboard designs. These keycaps are manufactured to allow backlighting to pass through or around legends as intended, and their consistent profile supports comfortable, predictable keystrokes for both typing and gaming.

Suitable for

• Mechanical keyboards with ANSI layout and removable keycaps
• Users seeking durable, non-shiny PBT key surfaces
• Setups that use keyboard backlighting or RGB illumination
• Typing and gaming environments requiring consistent key profiles

Key specifications

• Layout: ANSI compatible key spacing and row profile
• Material: PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) for enhanced durability
• Color: Black matte finish
• Backlight support: Designed to work with illuminated keyboards and RGB lighting
• Compatibility: Fits standard mechanical switches with removable keycaps

How to use

To replace existing keycaps, remove the current caps using a keycap puller to avoid damaging switches or stems. Align each GLORIOUS GPBT keycap with the switch stem and press down evenly until seated. Ensure proper orientation for larger keys (such as spacebar, enter, shift) and verify stabilizer alignment before testing. After installation, power on the keyboard and check backlighting to confirm light transmission and correct key placement.

Recommendations

For best results, install on a keyboard with compatible ANSI layout and detachable keycaps. Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove debris; avoid harsh chemical cleaners. If your keyboard uses non-standard stabilizers or specialized bottom-row layouts, verify compatibility before installation to ensure proper fit and stabilizer function.
