Glyph Blackbox Pro RAID 40TB USB-C hub externe harde schijf BBPR40000RAIDHUBEU

Most external drives force you to choose between capacity and connectivity, but the Glyph Blackbox Pro RAID 40TB combines dual enterprise-class hard drives with a built-in USB-C hub and memory card readers. This single aluminum enclosure replaces a drive, a dock, and a card reader, making it a central hub for creative professionals who demand both storage and peripheral expansion. With hardware RAID 0, RAID 1, JBOD, and SPAN modes, it adapts to your workflow—whether you need maximum speed, redundancy, or flexible storage pooling.

Highlights

• Massive 40TB capacity across two 3.5" SATA hard drives
• Integrated USB 3.2 Gen 2 hub: two USB-A and one USB-C downstream ports
• Built-in SD UHS-II and CFexpress Type B card readers for direct offloading
• Hardware RAID modes: RAID 0, RAID 1, JBOD, and SPAN
• USB-C interface with up to 550 MB/s transfer speeds (RAID 0)
• Fan-assisted aluminum enclosure for reliable cooling
• Includes USB-C to USB-C and USB-C to USB-A cables
• 3-year hardware warranty

In daily use

Connect the Blackbox Pro RAID to your Mac, Windows, or Linux workstation via the included USB-C cable and it appears as a single high-speed volume. The front-facing card readers let you ingest footage from SD or CFexpress cards without extra adapters, while the hub ports connect peripherals like SSDs, card readers, or a mouse. The fan keeps the dual drives cool during long transfers, and the Kensington lock slot secures the drive in shared environments. The external AC adapter ensures stable power for the dual drives and downstream devices.
