Halder SIMPLEX soft-face voorhamer, 100 mm kop, 1000 mm hickory steel, 5350 g

Striking hard surfaces with a standard steel hammer risks damaging both the workpiece and the tool, and can send dangerous shards flying. The Halder SIMPLEX soft-face sledgehammer solves this by combining a heavy cast iron housing with two interchangeable faces—superplastic and rubber—to deliver powerful blows without marring, sparking, or rebound. With a 100 mm head diameter and a 1000 mm hickory handle, it is built for demanding tasks in construction, landscaping, and assembly.

Who is it for

This sledgehammer is ideal for professionals and serious DIYers who need to drive steel wedges, set curbstones, erect scaffolding, build tents, or assemble and repair heavy equipment. It suits pavers, landscapers, fencers, and maintenance crews who require a no-damage striking tool with replaceable wear parts.

Main features

• Soft-face design with two different hardness inserts: superplastic (white, medium-hard) and rubber (black, hard) for versatile use.
• Interchangeable faces allow quick replacement without buying a new hammer—spare parts are readily available.
• Cast iron housing provides the necessary weight and durability for heavy striking.
• Long 1000 mm hickory handle offers excellent leverage and shock absorption, reducing user fatigue.
• Made in Germany to exacting quality standards.

Tips

Always wear safety glasses when striking. Inspect faces regularly for wear or damage, and replace them when they become deformed or cracked. Store the hammer in a dry place to preserve the wooden handle. For maximum face life, avoid striking sharp edges directly; use the appropriate face hardness for the material.
