Hama Premium M8 papiervernietiger microsnij-vernietiging 68 dB 22 cm zwart

The Hama Premium M8 Micro-cut paper shredder provides secure disposal of confidential documents and complies with GDPR requirements for paper data destruction. With a 22 cm working width and micro-cut technology producing 2 x 12 mm particles, it reduces documents to extra-small scraps to maximize bin capacity. The unit accepts up to 8 sheets at once and can also destroy plastic cards via the paper entry slot. High-quality steel cutters handle staples, and the device features automatic shut-off to prevent damage.

Advantages

Micro-cut shredding produces very small particles (2 x 12 mm) for enhanced data security. The 220 mm working width and capacity to shred up to 8 sheets at once make it suitable for regular home or small office use. Built-in safety automatically stops the machine to avoid damage, and the steel cutters permit shredding of stapled documents as well as plastic cards through the paper slot. The unit operates quietly (around 68 dB) and comes in a compact black design.

Suitable for

How to use

Place the shredder on a stable, level surface and ensure the waste bin is correctly inserted. Feed up to 8 sheets of paper together into the paper entry slot, or insert plastic cards one at a time. Allow the machine to process the material; it will produce micro-cut particles (2 x 12 mm). If the unit detects a fault or overload, it will shut off automatically—remove excess sheets and restart according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, avoid exceeding the 8-sheet limit, remove large staples where possible, and feed cards individually. Empty the waste bin regularly to maintain capacity and check the user manual for maintenance and safe disposal instructions.
