How to use

Insert the required battery according to the battery compartment markings and switch the device on if a power control is present. Place the thermometer on a flat surface or mount it at eye level on a wall where it can measure ambient temperature without direct sunlight, heating vents or drafts affecting the reading. Allow a few minutes for the sensor to stabilise after placing the device in a new location to obtain an accurate temperature measurement. Read the temperature directly from the display in °C.

Recommendations

For most accurate indoor readings, position the thermometer away from windows, radiators and direct sunlight and avoid placing it near doors that open frequently. Replace the battery when the display becomes dim or readings are inconsistent. Regularly check placement to ensure the sensor measures representative ambient air temperature for the room.
