Hoofdlamp Nitecore NU45 1700 lm LED zwart IP68

The 8-Core UHE LED headlamp integrates four high-efficiency UHE LEDs per module to deliver strong luminous output with improved heat control and lower energy consumption. It uses NiteLab LED technology developed by STSMAX, featuring UHE and UHL series that improve luminous efficiency and beam distance for headlamps and flashlights. The unit includes a built-in 4000mAh 18650 Li-ion battery that offers higher energy density and roughly 17.6% more capacity than standard 3400mAh cells, ensuring extended runtime. Fast charging with QC3.0 support provides up to 14W charging power, reaching 80% in about one hour and a full charge in approximately 1.5 hours. The headlamp features a versatile quick-release bracket allowing rapid detachment and re-mounting, and the headband can be separated to act as a sweatband. Constructed with a stamped aluminum alloy front housing and special PC plastic rear housing, the lamp is lightweight (126 g including bracket and headband), offers efficient heat dissipation, is IP68 rated and impact resistant to 2 m. A built-in optical sensor reduces brightness automatically if an obstruction is detected to prevent overheating; this sensor protection can be temporarily disabled for close-range use.

Advantages

The multi-core UHE LED arrangement increases light efficiency and improves thermal management for prolonged operation. NiteLab LED technology enhances beam distance and lumen-per-watt performance compared with conventional LEDs. The integrated 4000mAh 18650 battery provides higher capacity and energy density for longer run times. QC3.0 fast charging support enables rapid replenishment of power, with 80% capacity reached in around one hour. The quick-release bracket and detachable headband add versatility for different mounting needs. Durable materials, IP68 dust/water protection and 2 m impact resistance ensure reliable outdoor performance. The sensor protection function prevents overheating during obstruction and can be switched off when close-range illumination is required.

How to use

Charge the headlamp using a QC3.0 compatible charger until the indicator shows the desired level; a typical 80% charge takes about one hour and a full charge about 1.5 hours. Attach the lamp to the headband or use the quick-release bracket to mount it on compatible accessories. Use the control interface to select brightness levels or beam modes. If the optical sensor detects an obstruction and reduces brightness, you can temporarily disable the sensor protection for close-range tasks where full brightness is required. After use, store the device in a dry place and recharge before extended storage to maintain battery health.

Recommendations

For reliable outdoor use, ensure the sealing points remain clean and undamaged to maintain IP68 protection. Use a QC3.0 charger for fastest recharge and avoid exposing the headlamp to prolonged direct heat sources. Disable the sensor protection only when close-range illumination is necessary and monitor heat during extended high-brightness use.
