Televisieantenne Telestar 5102220

The Television antenna Telestar 5102220 is a compact outdoor antenna designed for reception of digital terrestrial signals in DVB-T and DVB-T2 formats. With a specified maximum gain level of 51 dBi and a lightweight construction of 222 g, the Telestar 5102220 is intended to improve signal strength in residential and small building installations while remaining easy to handle and mount. The antenna is finished in white and supplied in packaging with a total weight of approximately 0.3 kg.

Advantages

The antenna delivers a high maximum gain of 51 dBi suitable for enhancing reception of weak terrestrial broadcasts. Its low weight makes it convenient for manual handling and reduces load on mounting fixtures. Compatibility with DVB-T and DVB-T2 digital formats ensures reception of modern terrestrial television services. The white finish offers a discreet appearance on many building exteriors.

How to use

Mount the Telestar 5102220 antenna outdoors in a location with the clearest line of sight toward broadcast transmitters, such as on a roof, balcony, or an appropriate mast. Secure the antenna using suitable clamps or brackets and run a coaxial cable from the antenna to the television or a set-top box. After powering the television or receiver, perform an automatic channel scan to detect available DVB-T and DVB-T2 channels. If reception is inconsistent, adjust the antenna direction and elevation in small increments and re-scan until signal quality stabilizes.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, place the antenna at the highest practical point clear of large metallic obstructions and away from other electronic devices that may cause interference. Use weatherproof connectors and sealant for outdoor cable joints. If long cable runs are required, consider using low-loss coaxial cable and, where necessary, an inline amplifier compatible with terrestrial UHF/VHF signals to compensate for cable attenuation.
