Gaslekdetector QOLTEC EB111111111111# voor CO- en CH-detectie

The QOLTEC Gas leak detector EB111111111111# is a portable instrument designed to identify the presence of carbon monoxide (CO) and methane/hydrocarbon (CH) in indoor environments. Compact and lightweight, it provides fast detection to support safety checks in homes, garages and small commercial premises. The device is intended for routine inspections and on-site troubleshooting where early identification of CO or CH is required to locate leaks and prompt corrective measures.

Advantages

The detector combines dual-gas sensing capability for CO and CH with a straightforward handheld form factor that facilitates point testing in confined spaces. Its fast response reduces the time needed to identify hazardous concentrations, while audible and visual indicators assist users in confirming the presence of gas without complex setup. Battery-powered operation enables use in locations without mains power, and the compact design supports easy storage and transport.

Suitable for

• Home safety inspections for carbon monoxide and methane
• Garage and workshop leak checks
• Routine HVAC and appliance service visits
• On-site troubleshooting during maintenance of gas lines and fittings

Key specifications

• Detection targets: carbon monoxide (CO) and methane/hydrocarbon (CH)
• Portable handheld form factor for spot measurements
• Fast response time suitable for locating leaks
• Audible and visual alarms to indicate detection
• Battery-powered for cordless operation
• Lightweight construction for convenient carrying

How to use

Power the unit according to the manufacturer’s instructions and allow any warm-up period specified by the device. Move the detector slowly around potential leak points such as appliance connections, pipe joints and flanges, ventilation outlets, and along gas lines. Observe audible and visual indicators; if either alarm activates, increase your distance and ventilate the area if safe to do so, then isolate the gas supply and contact a qualified technician. For accurate spot checks, maintain a steady probe speed and repeat measurements at multiple points to confirm leak location and concentration gradients.

Recommendations

Use the detector only as part of a broader safety procedure: ventilate spaces when gas is detected, avoid open flames, and seek professional service for repair. Perform routine functional checks following the device documentation, replace batteries as indicated, and store the instrument in a dry, dust-free location to preserve sensor performance.
