IP-camera Hikvision DS-2CD1T47G2H-LIU 4mm PL-lens, netwerkbewaking voor buiten/binnen

Hikvision DS-2CD1T47G2H-LIU is an IP network camera with a fixed 4 mm PL lens designed for both outdoor and indoor video surveillance. The camera connects via Ethernet to record and stream footage to network video recorders (NVRs) or direct network clients. It supports standard IP camera functionality including remote viewing, motion-triggered recording and continuous monitoring, making it suitable for perimeter, entryway and general room surveillance.

Advantages

The camera delivers reliable day-to-day monitoring with a compact design suitable for wall or ceiling mounting. Its 4 mm PL lens provides a balanced field of view for typical entrance and corridor coverage. Network connectivity allows integration with existing IP surveillance systems and remote access. Built for indoor and sheltered outdoor use, the camera supports continuous or event-based recording workflows and is compatible with common NVRs and viewing software.

Suitable for

• Perimeter and fence-line monitoring
• Building entrances, lobbies and stairwells
• Office rooms, corridors and retail areas
• Remote monitoring via network or NVR

Key specifications

• Optics: fixed 4 mm PL lens providing a medium-wide field of view
• Interface: Ethernet network connection for video streaming and power over network where supported
• Mounting: indoor and sheltered outdoor mounting options (wall or ceiling)
• Recording modes: continuous recording and event-triggered recording (motion detection)
• Compatibility: standard IP video protocols for integration with network recorders and client software

How to use

Mount the camera on a stable surface such as a wall or ceiling at the desired viewpoint. Connect the device to your local network using an Ethernet cable; if your setup supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), the same cable can supply power and data. Configure network settings and recording parameters through the camera’s web interface or via your NVR software. Adjust the camera orientation and focus as needed to frame the monitored area, then set motion detection zones and recording schedules to match your surveillance needs.

Recommendations

Position the camera to avoid direct exposure to strong light sources and to ensure the most relevant area is within the 4 mm lens field of view. For outdoor installations choose a sheltered location or additional housing to protect against weather. Regularly verify firmware and NVR compatibility and perform periodic checks of image framing, focus and recording schedules to maintain reliable surveillance.
