Irix Edge Lichtvervuilingsfilter SR 95mm

The Irix Edge Light Pollution Filter SR 95mm is a precision optical filter engineered to suppress the dominant wavelengths of artificial lighting, restoring natural contrast and colour fidelity in night-time photography. Its multi-layer NANO coating delivers exceptional clarity, while the slim aluminium frame minimises vignetting on wide-angle lenses.

Advantages

This filter effectively blocks light pollution from mercury vapour and sodium lamps, allowing astrophotographers and cityscape shooters to capture cleaner, more vibrant images without the typical orange or yellow cast. The advanced NANO coating provides anti-reflective, hydrophobic, oleophobic, and scratch-resistant properties, ensuring durability and ease of cleaning. With a high light transmission of over 99% outside the cut-off range, it preserves image brightness and requires no exposure compensation (0-stop filter factor).

Suitable for

• Astrophotography of nebulae, galaxies, and star fields
• Nightscapes and cityscapes with mixed artificial lighting
• Long-exposure photography in urban environments
• Use with lenses featuring a 95mm filter thread
