Kaartspel MATTEL Games UNO Flex — aflegspel, leeftijd 7+

MATTEL Games UNO Flex is a shedding card game for ages 7 and up that adapts the classic UNO gameplay with new flexible mechanics. Players take turns matching cards by number or colour or using special Power Cards and Flex Action Cards to change the flow of the round. The Flex mechanic allows a card to change its colour, enabling new matching possibilities and additional strategic choices during play. The set is designed for family and casual group play, offering short, repeatable sessions suitable for parties, game nights, and home entertainment.

Advantages

UNO Flex keeps core UNO rules while adding Flex Action Cards and Power Cards that introduce dynamic colour changes and new tactical options. The flexible colour feature increases interaction and unpredictability without complicating the basic shedding objective: be the first to discard all cards. Packaging and components are sized for comfortable handling by children and adults, and the rules are straightforward so new players can join quickly.

Suitable for

• Family game nights and casual play with children aged 7+
• Small group gatherings and parties
• Quick competitive sessions and turn-based strategy practice
• Fans of classic UNO seeking a variant with new mechanics

Key specifications

• Game type: shedding card game with special action cards
• Recommended age: 7 years and older
• Player count: suitable for multiple players in group play (standard UNO player range)
• Core mechanics: colour and number matching, Flex colour-change mechanic, Power Cards and Flex Action Cards
• Playtime: short rounds designed for quick sessions and repeated plays
• Components: printed playing cards with standard UNO-style colours and symbols

How to use

Shuffle the deck and deal the starting hand according to the rule sheet. On each turn, match the top discard by colour or number, or play a special Power Card or Flex Action Card to alter the current colour or force other effects. Use the Flex mechanic when allowed to change a card's colour and create new matches. Follow the standard UNO rule to call 'UNO' when you have one card left, and resolve Power Card effects immediately as described in the rule sheet.

Recommendations

For smoother play, place the rule sheet where all players can see it and keep a flat surface for discards. Suitable for mixed-age groups: supervise younger players as needed and allow a practice round to explain Flex Action Cards and Power Card interactions before competitive play.
