Kailash Trek GTX shark-grijs-lake blue-41,5 SCARPA schoenen

The Scarpa Kailash Trek GTX stands apart from ordinary trekking footwear by combining a classic suede upper with modern GORE-TEX waterproofing and a Vibram outsole that grips confidently on mixed terrain. Built for multi-day backpacking and demanding day hikes, this mid-cut boot offers the support of a traditional leather boot without the weight or break-in struggle.

Highlights

• Waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX Extended Comfort lining keeps feet dry in wet conditions while allowing moisture to escape.
• Durable 1.8mm water-resistant suede and fabric upper resists abrasion and trail debris.
• Vibram Biometric / XS Trek outsole delivers reliable traction on rock, mud, and loose ground.
• PU midsole and Comfort Flex Plus footbed provide cushioning and underfoot support for long days.
• Protective rubber rand shields the boot from scree and rocks.
• Speed lacing system with hooks allows quick, secure adjustment.

In daily use

On the trail, the Kailash Trek GTX feels stable and supportive without being overly stiff. The mid-cut ankle provides lateral support on uneven paths, while the medium flexibility allows a natural stride. The GORE-TEX lining works silently in the background—crossing shallow streams or hiking through morning dew, your feet stay dry, yet the boot never feels clammy. The Vibram outsole bites confidently on wet rock and loose gravel, inspiring confidence on steep descents. The board-lasted construction gives torsional rigidity for carrying a backpack, making this boot a reliable companion for long treks.
