Kenwood AT512 mixer-/keukenmachine-accessoire

The Kenwood AT512 folding tool attachment is designed to create light mousses and fluffy soufflés by gently combining heavy and airy ingredients. It reproduces the manual folding action within compatible Kenwood kitchen machines, lifting and scraping ingredients from underneath as it rotates to preserve delicate textures. The tool is height adjustable, made from durable materials, and is dishwasher safe. It is compatible with MAJOR sized machines that have 6.7 L bowls manufactured after 1976 and with the Chef Sense XL; it is not compatible with kMix machines, 4.6 L bowl Chefs, or the A700 series.

Advantages

The folding tool replicates a true folding motion to minimize deflation of aerated mixtures, ensuring even incorporation of heavier components without overmixing. Its specially shaped paddle lifts ingredients from the base of the bowl for uniform texture, while the height-adjustable design allows precise positioning for different bowl sizes. The attachment is dishwasher safe for easy cleaning and is made to fit specified Kenwood machine models for secure operation.

How to use

Attach the AT512 folding tool to the power hub of a compatible Kenwood machine following the machine manufacturer’s instructions. Adjust the tool height so the paddle reaches the base of the bowl without scraping it. With the mixer set to a low speed, add heavier ingredients gradually to the bowl containing the aerated mixture; the paddle will lift and fold them in gently. Stop and scrape the bowl rim if needed, and continue until ingredients are evenly combined and the desired airy texture is retained.

Recommendations

Use the folding tool at low speeds to avoid overworking aerated mixtures. Always confirm compatibility with your Kenwood model before purchase and adjust the height setting to match your bowl to achieve the best folding action.
