Kleurpotloden Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer Multi 24 stuks

Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer Multi 24 coloured pencils are water-soluble artist pencils designed for drawing, shading and achieving watercolour effects. Manufactured with high-quality pigments and a bonding process developed from long experience, these pencils offer intense, lightfast colours that can be transformed with water to behave like classic watercolours. Applied colour can be reworked in layers once dry, since the pigment becomes permanent after drying.

Advantages

High-quality pigments deliver strong brilliance and unsurpassed lightfastness. Pigments dissolve fully when brushed with water for seamless blending and genuine watercolour effects. The leads provide a smooth stroke and the special bonding process improves break resistance. The set contains 24 colours presented in a metal tin and the pencils are also available individually or in other assorted sets.

Suitable for

• Sketching and detailed illustration

How to use

Apply colour dry as with regular coloured pencils for drawing and detailed work. To create watercolour effects, lay down pencil colour on paper and use a wet brush to dissolve and blend the pigment. Allow layers to dry fully before applying additional layers to avoid reactivating the underlying pigment. For complete dissolution, use sufficient water and a suitable watercolour paper to achieve best results.

Recommendations

Use heavier, textured paper designed for watercolour to maximise pigment dissolution and wash effects; store pencils horizontally and replace caps or tins after use to protect leads and maintain colour quality.
