Why choose it

The Boulder X is a proven workhorse for technical approaches and light climbing. Its suede upper molds to your foot over time, while the rubber rand shields against abrasion from rocks and scree. The Mythos lacing system allows independent adjustment of the forefoot and heel, reducing hot spots and improving stability on uneven ground. The Vibram Idrogrip compound excels on wet and dry rock, and the Impact Brake System enhances traction on descents. The Ortholite footbed adds cushioning for long days, and the board-lasted construction with a polypropylene shank provides torsional rigidity for edging and smearing.

Ideal use cases

• Technical approaches to climbing crags and alpine routes
• Hiking on rocky, uneven terrain where grip and protection are essential
• Light climbing and scrambling on low-grade routes
• Everyday wear for climbers who want a durable, resoleable shoe

Good to know

The Boulder X is resoleable, extending its lifespan and reducing waste. It features a medium-volume fit that accommodates most foot shapes, and the full rubber rand provides excellent toe protection. The Vibram Idrogrip outsole is designed for confidence on wet and dry surfaces, making it a reliable choice for variable mountain conditions.
